Tuesday, August 28, 2012. It was really good actually. This week was really amazing. Kuwahara Shimai and I are pretty different people. She had an idea to fast together on Wednesday and it has made all the difference. I can feel the Lord helping me be a better companion to her and to let go of little things easier.

We dodged fountains of bubbling water and flooded streets and stuck cars for the next half hour to find a way to cross back across the Mississippi to a sunny side. I have never seen one area in the middle of a city become a flood zone. The waters of the deep opened up.
